Stabilize first, rebuild second
After wind, hail or an impact from falling debris, a damaged building keeps taking on water and losing value until it is closed up. Our storm-response work is built around that first phase: getting temporary protection in place quickly and correctly, so the mitigation and reconstruction that follow aren't fighting new damage. We work for restoration companies, general contractors, property managers and investors who need dependable hands on site when their own crews are stretched across a storm event.
What our storm response covers
- Emergency roof tarping. Tarps sized to the damaged area, run over the ridge where practical and secured with battens so they hold through the next weather system.
- Board-up. Window, door and wall openings secured with plywood to keep weather and unwanted visitors out.
- Temporary protection. Dry-in of openings, poly sheeting and other temporary measures called for in your scope.
- Debris clearing for access. Storm debris that's already down moved away from the structure, driveways and work areas so crews and equipment can get in. See storm debris cleanup.
- Documentation. Start, progress and completion photos for your file.
Built for multi-site storm events
Large storms rarely mean one building. A property manager may have dozens of units with roof damage, and a restoration company may have a list of losses spread across a region. We work through site lists in the order you set, report back as each address is secured, and flag anything that needs your attention, such as structural damage that should be evaluated before anyone goes on the roof.
From tarp to rebuild
Because we also handle framing and trusses, roofing, siding and interior reconstruction, the team that secured the building can come back for the permanent repair once the scope is approved. That continuity saves you a second round of site walks and keeps one point of contact on the job. Learn more about our insurance restoration and reconstruction work.
