The full roof sequence
- Tear-off. Existing roofing removed down to the deck, with debris contained and hauled away.
- Decking. Rotted or damaged sheathing cut out and replaced so the deck is solid before anything goes on top.
- Underlayment and flashing. Underlayment, ice and water barrier where called for, drip edge and flashing per the scope and the manufacturer's installation instructions.
- Shingle installation. Starter, field shingles, hip and ridge, and ventilation components as specified.
- Cleanup. Nails, scrap and debris cleared from the site.
Storm and restoration roofing
After wind and hail events, the roof is usually the first and largest line item. We often start on a property with emergency tarping, then return for the permanent roof once the scope is approved. If the damage reaches the structure, our framing and truss work lets us rebuild the roof framing and sheathing before roofing goes on, without waiting on another trade. Start, progress and completion photos go into your file.
Capacity for contractors and property managers
General contractors bring us in when their roofing schedule is full or when a project needs one team for both framing and roofing. Property managers use us for roof replacements across rental units and multi-family buildings, and investors use us to get a roof squared away during a renovation. We install to your specification for materials and products. Tell us who is supplying materials and we'll plan around delivery.
Roofing as part of the envelope
A roof replacement often goes hand in hand with fascia, trim and siding repairs. We handle both, which keeps the exterior on one schedule and one point of contact. For full loss rebuilds, see our insurance restoration and reconstruction work, and for cleanup after tear-off, debris cleanup and haul-off.
